Well, we are wrapping up a two-week trip through the midwestern/southeastern United States and have visited churches, pastors, missionary teammates, friends, and family members along the way. Although our backs are sore, our hearts are full! 🙂 It’s interesting…this part of our journey wasn’t initially part of the plan. We were supposed to have moved to Spain last month! But the blessings that have come from this time in the U.S. have been undeniable. 1. We have met people we wouldn’t have otherwise had the chance to meet. 2. We have seen and heard firsthand accounts of how God is working in communities and churches (despite COVID!) all over the place. 3. We have added missions partners…people who have made commitments to provide support and encouragement as we walk alongside pastors and churches in Europe and the Middle East. 4. We have visited historical and educational sites that have profoundly impacted our hearts and minds. We highly recommend the Martin Luther King, Jr Memorial in Atlanta, the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery (and pick up a copy of Just Mercy while you’re there), and a walk over the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, AL after first watching the movie, Selma. |

While we would LOVE to be settling into life in Spain, we are so thankful for the ways God is using this interim time. When we get home from this trip, we’ll be back to purging the last of our things, finding some sort of temporary routine for work and school, and then we’ll be back on the road in September, October, and November. Of course, we’ll keep you posted along the way! Many blessings, Nate, Stacy, and Family |
![]() We have: 23 Church Partners, 25 Individual/Family Partners, and we’re at 78% funded! We still need: 7 Church Partners, 5 Individual/Family Partners, and commitments for 22% more in ongoing funding! THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU WHO ARE FINANCIALLY PARTNERING WITH US! |
As associate regional coordinators for Europe and the Middle East, Nate and Stacy will be working alongside Regional Coordinators Patrick and Jamie Nachtigall as together they help connect, encourage, and resource the Church of God throughout the region. Nate and Stacy will have a particular emphasis on church planting and church health, walking alongside pastors and leaders in the region connected through the EuropeX church network.
