FUNDRAISING UPDATE
First…THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all the love, prayers, and financial support you have poured out over the past several months! You helped us meet and exceed our start-up funds goal, which is what will get us on the ground in Madrid!
We are now inching our way toward our ongoing support goal! With five months to go, we’ve raised almost 50% of that budget!! What that means: we still need people who are willing and able to make a commitment to financially partner with us in this ministry in an ongoing way.
Fulfilling your commitment doesn’t need to begin when the pledge is made, but it helps us know where we stand when it comes to meeting the financial obligations the ministry will require. You can make a pledge now….and the date you’d like to begin fulfilling the pledge, the frequency with which your financial gifts will be given, and amount that you’d like to give will be made known to us through your pledge. We’d be happy to answer any questions about that process or the ministry itself, so feel free to contact us!

FAMILY UPDATE
The six of us sat down a few weekends ago with a table full of magazines, scissors, glue sticks, poster boards, and a whole lot of craftiness to make a visual timeline of what’s to come in the next six months! We have an envelope full of events that haven’t made it to the boards yet – things without defined dates – like “sell the van” and “100% funded!” There is also a whole slew of bucket list items in that envelope, one of which reads, “go to the movie theater that has recliners”….one of Emily’s contributions! 🙂
While we are all experiencing varied levels of excitement (and yes, anxiety) for what’s ahead, it was so therapeutic for us to sit down as a family to discuss and creatively chart out all the things that need to happen before the long-anticipated airplane ride to Madrid.
Our departure date seems to be approaching at an increasing rate of speed the closer we get! 🙂 As we move down the timeline and prepare for life and ministry in Europe and the Middle East, we are so thankful for your continued prayers and encouragement! You all are a massive blessing in our lives, and we look forward to taking you on this ministry journey with us!
